The World’s Longest Gig

Join us on an adventure like no other where we will be trekking, jamming, rafting and exploring our way through the Amazon rainforest of Peru. Imagine a fusion of traditional musicians from developing countries around the world meeting in the Amazon for the first time and embarking upon a unique musical expedition. Their goal; to transcend social barriers through the power of music and to influence a positive future for coming generations. It will be a cultural exchange never seen before, as they jam with indigenous musicians, share music written by established artists, trek through remote areas of Peru, and build rafts to join a thrilling race down the River Amazon.

The trek will offer a variety of breathtaking backdrops, from remote villages to ancient archaeological sites. We intend to break down social barriers and collaborate with local indigenous people to ensure they inhabit a more sustainable environment, while raising awareness about the effect of deforestation on future generations.

  Goals:
  • Support indigenous people of the Amazon and their environment
  • Raise awareness of the issues affecting the Amazon and generate action
  • Implement and maintain projects that improve and enhance lives through Active Communities initiatives
  • Bring people together through music, using cultural differences to unite and expand.
